I say "no" to everything. Even when I mean yes. Sometimes, I catch myself mid-no and change it to yes, so it comes out "nnnn'yesh". Though I am a girl, and I adore my pink shoes, and my flower shoes which are are also pink, but are not to be confused with my pink shoes, my favorite toys are plastic dinosaurs. I have baby dolls, but they don't hold my interest worth a damn. I laugh, I cry, I pout, I giggle, and I do it all in the same breath. I pretend to be shy a lot, and I would really appreciate it, Mother, if you would stop telling people that it's an act. How am I supposed to soften up the marks if you let them in on the con?
